Ariel Godoy was born on 17 February 1964, in the city of Nogoyá, province of Entre Ríos. Trained and with an extensive career in the field of political science, he has dedicated his life to painting for more than 15 years.
His teacher was the artist Horacio Politi and later he trained in the workshop of Guillermo Roux. He has had solo and group exhibitions in cities such as Paris and Buenos Aires. His work is part of numerous private collections.
He considers painting as his own language and studies in it the different ways of seeing. With a deep anchorage in the study of the gaze and the relationship with psychoanalysis, he borders between figuration and abstraction with an exhaustive use of colour.
She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires.
