Profile

He has been painting since early adolescence, when he took painting and drawing classes in a small workshop located on the premises of the Colegio del Líbano.

His father, due to his remarkable aptitude for technical drawing as a designer of industrial matrices, created a good part of his vocation.

Francisco González, an uncle, a professional photographer and an amateur painter, encourages him to use oil from an early age.

The North American painter Kenneth Evenson was also of influence, from whom he ended up receiving his palette and oil paintings when he retired to his country of origin.

He graduated as a Technological Engineer in Electronics from the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay.

Later he specialized as a Biomedical Engineer at Udelar (University of the Republic) and a Patent Engineer.

In addition to other languages, he studies the Japanese language and establishes cultural links that contribute to the care of details and aesthetic aspects.

Working for almost twenty years in the audiovisual media of television and theater allows him a great creative development that he transfers to his works.

Undoubtedly, the rigor he seeks in his artistic work is influenced by his training.

His figurative oil paintings are full of careful brushstrokes as a result of a permanent search to establish a dialogue with the viewer.

Color and light are elements that he considers fundamental pillars to transmit the intimate reflections that result from his experiences and values.

He paints on what he has seen and that sensitizes him while continuing to investigate its context.

His great satisfaction is immersing himself in the scents of pigments, creating with his hands and connecting with a world of new people to whom he can express his own spirit and reason.
